Thin content

Pages with little original value: doorway pages, auto-generated text, scraped copy or affiliate pages that add nothing.

Thin content is judged by value, not word count. A short page that answers a question completely is not thin; a long one rewording what everyone else says may be. Large amounts of it can hold back a whole site in core updates.
